What We DoRocky Mountain Paleontology provides all aspects of paleontologic assessment and analysis. Our goal is to help our clients achieve their project goals in a timely and cost effective fashion while best managing paleontologic resources and meeting regulatory requirements. More specifically, we assist our clients in obtaining needed paleontologic permits and clearances, facilitate the achievement of their paleontologic resource management objectives, and provide a number of educationally related products and services. Examples of recent projects include paleontological assessments and/or monitoring and mitigation services for pipelines, powerlines, highways, gas well construction projects, and seismic surveys. In addition to helping our clients accomplish their project goals, we promote education in paleontology and encourage public discourse on paleontologically-related issues, foremost the scientific importance of fossils. RMP is philosophically opposed to the collection and/or distribution of fossils for commercial purposes. |
